It makes no difference that this fella is a SM. He's had 12 fights in 9 years.

This is not a barometer of how well CEJ will compete at this weight.

250k watched that fight night they had on itv 4 the other week. I'd say they'd be very lucky to even get 1/10th of that buying this. Not even seen it advertised in local pubs and bars

So is the undercard for this actually on free TV as they hinted, or is it all PPV?

I think it would all have to be on PPV mate cos nobody would bother paying for the main event on its own. As a package it's more tempting for folk to pay for it.

Couldn't watch much of the press conference, too cringeworthy. Thought it was funny the presenter saying some bookies had 250-1 on for Eubank Jr to win. Surely an all-time record for a PPV main event? Also funny that Eubank Sr was the only person with a question after nobody from the press had one.

Funny as well listening to Andre Ward completely disregarding the fight and belt, saying hopefully 'in future' Eubank Jr can have big fights for titles.

It's a circus, that much is for sure.

I wonder how much they are paying Pricey and Galahad to lend at least some normalcy to the event...

its defo all on PPV, I had a look at the tv schedule and there is no boxing on any of the ITV channels. The most likely would have been ITV2 and there is one of the Lord of the Rings films on at like 8pm.

ITV and the Eubanks have made a big mistake here. This event should be broadcasted on terrestrial tv without question. Would of attracted more viewers and gained more exposure to Casual Fans. When Eubank Jr wins (or if he does), then step up to fight to GGG or BJS.....GGG is box office. PPV is then justifiable in this instance.

Milk the fans at your peril.

Yep having this show on itv 4 with the main event on ITV 1 like they did with Frampton would make sense. Then build them up from that. It looks like i'll be staying in saturday night but i'll be watching taboo on bbc 1 instead of this joke.
