He doesn't have the heart or dedication no doubt. Really it is a shame because Price does have some tools, you can't teach being 6'8 and having big punching power.
he can still make some nice checks in domestic fights. The bright part for him was he took some shots on the chin and didn't fold up like a deckchair. It wasn't as a bad a loss as Teper.
Would mind seeing him in against Allen. Now that I think of it... Very dangerous fight for Price given how durable Allen is.
You are very hard on Pricey, LG. Hammer did beat Teper in his last fight and was dropped pretty heavily by Dave before he gassed out. I don't see tonight as the end.
Terrible, just watched the fight. He won basically every round, but looking vulnerable with every punch Hammer threw before being totally gassed in round 5. Price is a circus figher, should fight 4 rounders against guys with no punching power.
yeah, well, he wasn't KTFO tonight. I'd agree if he was in a heap asleep but he did come close to stopping Hammer, who is ranked higher. There is some hope for him.
The power has always been there, for 4 rounds maximum. After those 4 rounds, it's time to bend over or turn his back to his opponent. Price can now compete within Prizefighters (3 rounds), become a circus fighter like Butterbean (4 rounds fights) or become a sparring partner. Those are the only possibilities. Any boxer with a chin, who could last 5 rounds with him, beat him just based on stamina.
