Calzaghe UD. I want to see more of Beterbiev before I start saying he beats ATG's at the weight. Poor ol Lacy. He really was better than he looked against Joe. I forgot what a beating he took that night.
in wales, ko in 1 after joe gets floored clean. and then turns to his welsh pal ref to ask ghi to stop the fight since his punches have no effect on Beefy.
At this point in time, given where Beterbiev is now, even though Calzaghe's best work was at 168, I would confidently pick Joe to win.
Have to go with Joe. There are many unanswered questions with Beterbiev. I feel like (I hope) he's also building himself a new roughhousing style, which if perfected, would make him a nightmare.
I appreciate some of your answers, but how is a guy who cant hurt his opponent with his slaps supposed to beat one of the hardest punching 175s of all time?
And how an unproven fighter that has never fought a good fighter can beat an undefeated, atg, hall of famer and world champion without having faced a good fighter yet?.
