Why are you so hostile towards Parker? He faced good opposition on the way up and is looking for big fights in the division. Facing Takam, Ruiz, Fury(and even a couple of stay busy fights) in the span of the year is unheard of in the modern HW division.

 

True but a guy like Takam destroys Hammer as well...

 

You've always been hostile... Judging him almost completely by his amateur and semi-pro career. No way was Parker/Ruiz a robbery, Parker did just enough to win fighting off the back foot. I've noticed a problem in big fights that he often doesn't change gears and fights to the level of his opponent, maybe for stamina reasons.. He definitely could have given more against Takam and Ruiz. Despite that, how can you slate him when out of the new blood in the division only Joshua looks more impressive than him?

 

On a relevant note, Hammer vs Ruiz jr would make for a decent fight. Winner of that can become the next WBO mandatory.

 

I'm pretty realistic about him honestly lol. You never gave him a chance from the very beginning... Now he has some of the better on-paper wins of the current belt holders, hell Takam is better than anyone Joshua or Wilder has beaten at the moment. Parker has some notable flaws but so does Wilder, even Joshua to a lesser extent. Parkers willing to fight the best though... Time give him some due and stop blindly hating for the sake of it.

 

I thought he looked better against Takam than Hughie did against Kassi or Rudenko. He's only 24, a prospect who happens to have a title. Give him more time.

 

It's nice knowing Parker has haters...keep hating. Parker will keep winning.

 

Which I really don't get... Fought respectable opposition on the way up and is doing the same at world level.
