Yeah a lot of Ashkenazi have that pseudo-Asian look to them, there's also that theory that they're mostly descended from the Khazars which has largely been debunked. I think there's grains of truth to it though which why you get some who look Turkic/Central Asian.

Herring was overwhelmed and outclassed, but I don't think Herring's showing was "pathetic". He tried his damnedest to stay with TKhan for as long as he could...he just didn't have anything to keep Shaf off of him. More of a case of what Shaf could do than what Herring couldn't. Pretty sure I'll be picking Herring to beat the comparatively pedestrian AH.
