Is Ward gutless for not agreeing to a rematch?

So he smiles from a knockdown, your telling us it wasn't a legit smile?! Then he makes adjustments no matter how ugly he made adjustments and Kov didn't but you're mad at him?! I'm mad Kov, gassed he should have known going in he wasn't going to get Ward out of there

 

Isn't that Kov fault for agreeing to all those concessions?!? There are usually 2 parties when negotiating I mean he was Champ he had all the leverage and bow down to Wards demands that's a stupid champion in my book. If Brook does that for Khan I'll laugh

Ward won the fight but he should have had a tune up beforehand, he's got Kova's number now and will beat him more soundly next time around. He will take the rematch.

 

Tell him to hurry up. I don't want to see a rematch including negotiations over what sort of mobility scooter is allowed.

 

He accepted those demands because he wanted to fight ward whatever the cost to prove he was the superior being. In retrospect, he was simply willing to put boxing ahead of gold and silver coins.

SK's camp are fully aware of how much of a precious diva Ward is.

They knew if they didnt ''bow down''' to his demands, Ward would have happily avoided the fight before running to the press and stating that Kovelev didnt want the fight.

Then his siege of blind disciples would be calling SK a ducker, failing to comprehend just how much of a disgraceful offer that had been presented.

 

Kovalev agreed because he is THE MAN. He wanted to give his fans the fights they wanted to see. Ward only cared about securing as many advantages as possible for himself.

I used to be a Ward fan. I've never badmouthed him, aside from occasionally commenting on his dirty tactics. Now I flat out think he is a female dog.

 

Andre Ward, like the great champion he is and #1 P4P boxer in the world, moved up from SMW to LHW and took the hardest fight he could find in challenging Kovalev "The Krusher", for the LHW title.
In spite of a long lay-off, He didn't do like wimpy Golovkin and fight all the b-level opponents at LHW.
He went straight to the top, beat the so-called Krusher, and became THE NEW LHW Champion in the WORLD, Andre "Son Of God" Ward.

 

Does that mean GGG isn't?! Like Ward he over estimates his worth significantly. Bending over and taking huge concessions as a champ is admirable and truely cool of Kov but also ******ed

 

Until Wards signs to face someone else, STFU....

 

The rematch should have been signed and dated by now.

Fighters have secured rematches within a few months.

Just look at Carl Frampton, who without hesitation provided Santa Cruz a rematch after his first victory. It's been less than a couple of weeks since their second encounter and they are already in talks for a third showing.

Ward is stalling because he is seeking ways out of the rematch. I'd wager he is in touch with his lawyer to seek out any loopholes so he free to evade his responsibility to honour the clause.

Apologists like yourself only seek to silence those who are willing to call out Ward for his shameless conduct. You put fighters like Ward before the sport of boxing which is deplorable.

No he hasn't ducked anyone yet, however the noise coming from his camp suggest it is heading in that direction.

I have simply made my thoughts known regarding his conduct after the fight. The lies, the backtracking and the cowardice imply that it is a man that has little intention of honouring what was once agreed prior to the initial encounter taking place.
