I think most people are mad because it was such a close fight they want a clear cut winner, the 2nd reason there was a rematch clause and anytime there's a rematch clause it happens unless the fighter that won truly doesn't believe they won or are "scared". Ward could have gotten away with not rematching him if he did a few things different first being not bringing up retirement right after, 2nd if he said I want to grab that last belt from Stevenson and actually fought him. He should have been slightly more gracious in winning

We all saw it happen . The boxing media is treating Ward as the loser of this fight despite getting the gift decision . That tells you everything right there . Ive said it before , I love the honesty Ward fans have been showing ever since the end of that fight . There are vids all over Youtube and Insta with these dudes being genuine and 100% Real confessing that their fighter (Ward) did not deserve the W . I love Realness so I can appreciate that .
