At least AJ has signed to fight Wlad .... And yes Haye before his comeback did fight some good opponents, also in the CW division. He's accomplished plenty. But his latest comeback seems to be a joke so far though, De Mori /Gjergjag / Bellew is not what a serious HW contender would be fighting ....
Not including Martin for obvious reasons, but you call Breazeale and Molina big fights? He has yet to have a big fight. You seem to confuse talking about fighters with actually getting in the ring with them. A 41 y/o Klitschko who has been inactive for 18 months, and desperately poor in his last fight he lost will be AJ's best opponent by far come April, win or lose.
There's no beltholder shameless enough to give Price a shot now, certainly not on PPV. Audley was a Haye special. Even if Price rematches Hammer and beats him, wins that prizefighter tourny if it ever happens again, nobody gives him a snowball's chance in hell against one of the belt holders anyway. Not even Wilder would tanish his "good" name against someone like Price now. Audley got the shot because enough British people bought into the Haye sham, nothing more.
fraduley got a shot at haye because David Haye was the equivalent of Harrisons twice removed cousin with the same ego problems and same genetic disposition for getting ktfo by 40somethings and then running scared from them, not because he was good.
Price has not got what it takes- mentally. He is incapable of going more than 4-5 rounds without gassing horribly unless he has a human punching bag in front if him, then he KOs them inside 3 rounds. Its not a matter of stamina with him or training, its purely mental and genetic. In a way Price is still conditioned as a 3 round amateur.
Who would you say with certainty beats Wlad today? Joshua has 18 fights and is pursuing the biggest fights available. He's moved up the ranks how any blue chip prospect should. Started off fighting respectable domestic journeymen before very quickly stepping up and facing European level and tough international journeymen, before finally moving on to fringe world level and then world. All in a matter of 2-3 years. I don't see how you can slate how he or Parker were brought up.... Wilder was still crushing obese winos and drug addicts at this point of his career. Compare and contrast Joshua and Parker to how Tyson, Lewis and Ali were brought up.
He was dominated because he tore a 38 year old pec in the 2nd round.. This content is protected The same injury he took into the Haye fight..
That's why Audley never lost twice to the same man.. Frank Warren created Fraudley in the Newspaper.. from fight 1.. because he didn't work with him.. and skipped the British for WBF.. Then actually robbed him against Danny Williams.. which influenced Guinn.. They coulda rode the WBF champion to all 6 belts..
price is too much of a threat, as bad as his stamina and chin is he can punch, and we all know what wilders chin is made of...
The hacking was separate.. with the BBC/WBF thing.. had nothing to do with Warren.. but it caused him to back to England to work with the guy who penned "Fraudley"..
It's not just Frank Warren.. it's the Mike Tyson culture.. Ali the greatest boxer.. Mike the greatest slugger.. but Ali had power (Speed x Force etc)..
I must have missed all this. I don't remember AJ fighting at European level then international level before fighting fringe world and world level. I just remember his last 5 fights were limited Cornish, Green boxing rookie Whyte, Joke Martin...then once champ defending against Breazeale and Molina.
