Honestly, anonymous poll: Do you think Wladimir has even the slightest chance against AJ?

I'll tell you why I think Wlad can win.

He's actually sparred AJ, and reportedly trounced him. He will have picked up on flaws in AJ's game and will have been watching him develop. Obviously AJ has been improving, but I think Wlad sees enough flaws left to exploit. He's also well aware of how powerful physically AJ is.

That's where his comment "In 3 years you will be too good and I will be too old." comes from.

I think Wlad is aware that AJ is plugging the holes in his game and that he better pick him off while he still has something in the tank. Of all the champions, I think AJ is the most dangerous for Wlad. I believe Klitschko is dead serious about unifying and regaining his titles.

 

These guys never learn no matter what knowledge we offer they REFUSE to study and learn. Considering I "have a chance" at hitting the lottery for millions every single day, of course Aj could snap his ankle or shatter his hand, wrist or arm. So we have to say there's a chance for anything.

There's also a chance of rjj beating ggg,ward,kovalev and Stevenson all at the same time with his shoe laces tied together and his arm tied behind his back

klitchko is past it. not easy money at all.

 

Yes ofcourse he has. Joshua has faced nobody even close to his level. Yes he has slowed down, age has caught up with him and is at the end of his career but he has enough in him to ask Joshua a few questions and lets be honest AJ has had it easy to date.

Saying that my money would be on a comfortable knock out victory for AJ. The Brit will just beat Vlad to the punch and will relentlesly go for the kill as soon as he knows its there for the taking

 

Youre kidding me right. I know Tony personally and it was obvious Vlad was at least 1 standard deviation better than Tony. Unfortunately during Vlad's reign he simply didn't have a lot of competition. Povetkin would have probably KO'd him if the ref was halfway decent and took away points from Vlad for holding.

 

Of course he has a chance. He was the former Unified King of the division just 1 fight ago. I however think Wlad showed his age and inability to pull the trigger in the Fury fight. It could have been due to Fury's negative approach to that fight, but I doubt that. Joshua is a big Athletic puncher and won't let Wladimir's inactivity go without paying a big price, unlike with Fury. I think it's Joshua's time, and I fully expect Wlad to pass the torch. Joshua by late TKO.

 

He has a terrific chance in this fight if you're under the pretense that his last fight was just a bad night in the office.

He has a body of about 10 years worth of work that leads me to believe it was just one bad night. But given his age, it could be father time catching up to him.

Still, if he were to ever beat AJ, now would be the time given the lack of championship experience that Joshua has. Him still being somewhat of a neophyte in the pro ranks is one of the major advantages Wladimir has in this fight.

 

Easy fight for AJ,Vlad is done.

 

AJ has never boxed anyone remotely as good as Wlad. Even 70% of Wlad's best is way better than AJ's best win. So, of course Wlad has a chance....

 

I see Klit winning.

 

There's no way I'd throw that much money on a fight involving two big punchers with questionable punch resistance... Maybe if I was a professional gambler with other bets to cover my losses. Wlads definitely worthy of putting in a multiplier or a small standalone cash bet though.
