The morrison that out pointed big George vs the moorer who was ko'd by him. Two 90 s heavyweight s, both with big punches, though I'd say morrison tops here. Both had similar chins, both showed heart in certain fight when the going got tough. Can morrison lay out mike with the left or can moorer do a mercer on Tommy!?
Morrison was a much bigger puncher. Basically every guy who fought both Morrison and Tyson stated that Tommy was the bigger puncher. I never heard anybody really say Moorer was a huge puncher at heavyweight. If they both fought smart (like Morrison did with Foreman and Moorer did with Holyfield) I would pick Moorer by UD. But I doubt either would fight like that against each other. Morrison feared Foreman's power so he ran, I doubt Tommy would fear Moorer and would fight his normal fight. Moorer would fight his normal fight. The fight could go just like Moorer vs Cooper with both guys going down. Or it could go like Tua vs Moorer.
Morrison would have definitely caused Moorer issues with his power, but if he couldn't get him out of there early.... Moorer would certainly be the stronger fighter in the mid-late rounds. Either Morrison early-mid KO or Moorer late stoppage/UD. There's no safe pick in this one.
Can see this one as similar to moorer vs Cooper. Both men fighting close quarters, moorer doing his best work working off the ropes. Mike would probably be dropped a few times as Tommy would. Would be a war!. In leaning to Tommy catching mike mid round s with a devastating hook and moorer left sparko.
