Not sure if this was posted here before or not.

It was filmed a couple weeks ago. Holyfield and Bowe are signing gloves and Evander calls out Bowe for not fighting Lennox Lewis. Bowe just sits there kind of embarrassed.

    And Evander doesn't let up.

When Bowe says Lewis wouldn't fight him because Lennox knew Bowe owed him for beating him in the Olympics ... Holyfield cuts him off and says he knows Lennox and he tells Riddick "I know you." And Holyfield says "you can't keep saying that same stuff."

Evander even says something along the lines of you busted that other guy in the mouth (Larry Donald) but you wouldn't fight Lewis.

Too bad the video cuts off when Holyfield starts talking about watching the film of Bowe and Lewis confronting each other after Bowe's first fight with Holyfield ... and Holyfield says Bowe was talking smack to Lewis while walking away ... (instead of hitting him like he did Larry Donald).

Neither guy speaks very clearly anymore. But Evander was totally mocking Bowe for not fighting Lewis. (Of course, Evander fought Lewis twice. And Tyson twice. And Bowe three times.)

To summarize the exchange, Evander tells Bowe when Donald said he'd beat you ... you busted him in the mouth. When Lewis said he'd beat you ... you walked away and never fought him.

Bowe looks like he wants someone to change the subject.

Interesting stuff. Holyfield is acting pretty ballsy, but I guess given Bowe's condition, he could probably kick his ass at this point.

Oh yeah, watched that one yesterday. Evander stirring shyte. But he's right, though.

And he totally looks like he could kick Bowe's ass today.

Yeah Bowe looks and sounds terrible. Considering the length of his career, the wars... Holyfield looks and sounds pretty good.

Yes he does. One kinda forgets that after their careers are over, these guys are still around.

The interesting thing is that Holy and Bowe are good friends. Holy also has good relationships vs other rivals like Tyson and Lennox.

Bowe and Lennox are still enemies though :)

Holyfield could probably kick Bowe's ass at just about any point since they last fought.
Bowe just went downhill after the 3rd fight, while Holyfield surprised a lot of people by carrying on and beating Tyson.

Lewis would have whooped Bowe and Bowe knew it, he would have gone into that fight intimidated. Also a bit rich coming from Holyfield, Lewis vs Holyfield took nearly 3 years to make.

I love how a lot of the 90's heavyweights hang out with each other.
Briggs, Mercer, Byrd, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis
    You see them together often.

Watching that video explains it all, Bowe presents no argument to Holyfield, in fact he doesn't even look up.

I saw that the other day and was looking forward to hearing Bowe's retort but i couldn't really understand what anybody was saying.
I wouldn't read to much into it , especially when the dialogue cannot be decoded. And Bowe was busy working anyway.

Vander just salty that Bowe whooped his ass.

Bowe only took Holyfield on because he had a massive weight advantage over him. It was at least 25lb. If Holy had weighed 240 there's not a chance in hell Bowe would have gone near him. The same as he never went near Lewis

I took it as Evander was "salty" because Bowe dropped the WBC belt. The video cuts off at just that moment. But Holyfield's talking about how he was mad at Bowe for not fighting Lewis. And he said you won the heavyweight championship of the world.

And, as we all know, when Evander won the rematch with Bowe the next year, Evander didn't get all the belts back, because Bowe had dropped one that Lewis picked up.

And Evander Holyfield spent the rest of his freaking career trying to unify all those belts again. He'd unified at cruiserweight because he felt it was very important. He won the unified title from Douglas. Evander always took that stuff seriously. And Bowe just dropped one and thought it was no big deal.

I think that's why Evander is still so pissy about it. Evander cared about that stuff (unified champs and fulfilling mandatories) a lot. He still does. And Riddick Bowe just dumped it.

And Evander couldn't freaking conceive of doing something like that himself, because he personally knew how hard it was to bring them all together and hold them.

They're like those brothers from Oasis. They achieved the same goal, and they put on great shows together, but they couldn't understand what the other guy was thinking half the time when he did stuff.
