HBO two weeks before Main Event on March 18 GGG vs DJ will get 24/7 treatment
from HBO sports. Making the return of the series that always provided
a interesting insight into the big fights.

It should be scintillating, there isn't two more electrifying personalities in the sport than these two........:eyebrow2:

/shrug not enough **** talking for me I miss the mayweather ones.
"Hi my name is Oscar De La Hoya I'm gonna do this and do that.... you ain't gonna do sh!t!"- Floyd voice mimicking Oscar
    Or
" Yea, I took his s***, so what!! Do something about it then.."- Floyd knows to sell a fight that's for sure
Manny and Tim Bradley ruined those for me a little.

I know it lost its luster since Mayweather , Pacquiao 24/7 but its good exposure for
boxing and the casual fans . HBO has shown little effort with boxing since budget cuts
and this is small step in right direction.

The Maywether 24/7's were just embarrassing. Watching a grown man and champion come off like an insecure teenager was not becoming of him.

I'm looking forward to this installment.

HBO can do a tremendous job of building up fights with this series. They're obviously trying to attract casual fans to GGG, which is a good strategy. He has his base of hardcore fans but they need to attract a bigger audience.

This isn't going to have the trash-talk but I bet they can put a compelling story together with GGG's background/childhood.

Most importantly, this will probably be an entertaining fight, so any casual fans they attract might stay for his next match-up.

Not to mention Jacobs has a fantastic story as well. Should be a nice change from the kindergarten style trash talk of the Maywether 24/7's.

That's my thought - I got tired of all that after a few episodes. These are two guys most people haven't been exposed to, so they can go into detail on their backgrounds. By the time they finish telling Jacob's story, I know I'm going to have a tear in my eye!

Even though neither guy is particularly charismatic, I'm certain this will be great viewing.

I agree. I love a good training montage - GGG jogging up a hill in the rain, giving humblebrag advice to other people in Big Bear, leaving dents in a heavy bag, and breaking cruiser-weights' ribs! Jacobs seems a nice enough fella too - so long as the producers don't lay on the "cancer boy" stuff too thick.

Expect two thirds of the show to be about "big drama show" knockouts and "skyrocketing popularity" and expect the other third of the show to be about Jacobs comeback from cancer. Oh, plus some new advanced technology training methods!

Yeah, HBO should have saved their money on this one. Should be on CSPAN.

Mcgregor would be awesome for 24/7. People don't realize you can't have two good guys it's boring I can only watch another mans "family time" and praying so much. Not a knock on just Manny, overall without someone with, charisma it makes for a boring marketing scheme. I would much rather have them fill the time slot with highlights of a previous fight or complilation of all there previous fights good and bad. Face off should be longer

This fight should not be on PPV................24/7 will be a bunch of crap......................I might buy the fight though, but I want to buy Golovkin Vs. El Pollo, that's the fight fans want to see.............
