“David Price in the making. Look what happened to David Price. Don’t misword me on it. The way they structured David Price, moving him so fast, the whole England was behind him, when he wasn’t really proven for real. He wasn’t no killer. He ain’t really fought no killer. But they had him as the biggest thing in England. And look who come along? How old Tony [Thompson] was? Forty-something years old.”

    Thoughts?

He could just as easily be talking about himself.

True. I'm guessing he's a little jealous that AJ has gotten to where Wilder has quicker, and had the balls to face Wlad sooner than Wilder ever would.

Anyway, Wilder just looks foolish saying that. Considering his career.

Windmill projecting big time... Joshua has already proven to be vastly superior to Price, even if he does lose to Wlad he should be able to pick up the pieces and rebuild without much issue. Wilder avoided the likes of Thompson like the plague on the way up, because his handlers knew there was a good chance he would have been exposed...

The same Tony Thompson he wanted no ****ing part of. You really couldn't make this **** up. The really is no shame in Deontay's game.

You can definitely throw stones at AJ's career - but not when you live in the glassiest house on Glass Street.

He's probably right. Both Joshua and Price have a lot in common.

I won't pay attention to anything that Wilder says until after he gets his arse sparked out. And he will.

It wouldn't be so funny if he weren't the last guy left who legitimately doesn't see the lengths his team's gone to protect him. I believe Wilder would fight anyone and show heart doing so. He interviews like a guy who's always being fed a line from his team on how the fights with the best are falling through (though I don't blame him a bit for the Povetkin thing), but is kept in the dark as to the real reason. They can keep cashing in on him, and he maintains his confidence.

It's a shame his management doesn't want to take the risk that comes with managing a glass cannon. We've probably been robbed of him scoring an upset or two he shouldn't have over a better heavyweight because they didn't want to roll the dice more routinely and have him lose a fight he shouldn't have.

Wilder better worry about Washington, starting to think this really is only a 60/40 fight in his favor. And im seeing other things here so,not a shock if he gets knocked out on April fools day!

All around jealousy on Wilders part, it doesn't matter if rate him or not or you love or hate Joshua he is earning some serious money and is signed to be in a mega money huge outdoor fight at Wembley Stadium against Klitschko.

Wilder is fighting Washington, enough said.

Wilder isn't earning anywhere near AJ money, isn't as nearly support in his own country, will never fight in front of a crowd the size of Joshua Klitschko, the only possibility of that is if he faces Joshua himself and is probably seen my the majority as the better fighter.

Wilder is just bitter and jealous and needs to talk trash to stay relevant because his opponents and fights are not worth talking about but having a pop at AJ might get people talking about him.
