Andre Ward Needs To Release Email (Or Stop Name Dropping GGG To Remain Relevant)

No I agree ward is a winner andi respect him but I don't like him. No problem with "running" because a lot of great boxers do but I don't like spoiling wrestling and butting because ward has been doing it his entire career and is used to it while his opponents have been actually operating under the rules of boxing(with a few exceptions) so when ward starts to wrestle and butt people it's turning boxing into a wrestling match that he specializes him. But as long as the referee doesn't stop him I understand why he keeps doing it, it's a winning formula and he earns goo money while minimizing risk

For someone that comes off as intelligent, you sure miss the point a lot. I wasn't saying Brand was a world beater, I said he's never been stopped inside the distance of a fight. So you trying to criticize Ward for not stopping him is just Ward hating, nothing more!

The first thing Ward did, after coming out of his 5 year hiatus, was to begin name dropping GGG.

For he knew that piggy backing off of GGG's reputation that he had worked so hard to build inside the ring, was the forward.

 

Considering the gulf in class between the two fighters, Ward should have made an impression in at least hurting Brand and imposed his superiority.

Yet we saw Brand coast towards taking Ward 12 rounds and at times looked as though he should be sharing the same ring with him.

 

Ward did hurt Brand and did impose his superiority.
Brand earned his pay that night and took some serious abuse.
Ward used the bout to shake off lay0off rust and try different things in the ring, like testing his newly repaired right hand, switching south paw, testing his power at LHW, ect.
Boxing isn't always about knock outs.

 

Thats because Ward cannot knockout anyone.

Hell I'd be surprised if he could stop let alone drop Dominic Wade.

 

Ward is a master boxer and a winner!
He beat the best with one arm and does not need to rely on brute power. Perhaps you've never been to the Bull fights.
