I did a quick search too. The top 10 (or so) google searches all reference 150.

What these *ssholes did was get a very early estimate, and run with it. And many of these same posters try to act like they are more fair, unbiased, or straight up intelligent, then others. Freaking Trump supporter syndrome.

No the fair thing to do is take the average vs Cinnamons average like they did for mayweather and Manny /shrug the simple fact is GGG needs Canelo not the other way around. But that's the perk of fighting tough challenges. GGG who I like and have a mad respect for simply doesn't deserve the money. Honestly if K2 and GGG insist on asking for too much money I hope GBP walk.

I mean even if he did that much you take the three PPVs from GGG and Canelo and average them out. I can guarantee if you do percentages based on that it won't be near 15 million

I guess it's good for 3G's squad they don't go by averages.

Of course he deserves the money.

He would be jointly responsible for making the fight as huge as it would be.

I've no issue with Canelo getting the bigger split. But GG shouldn't have to take a flat fee.

Canelo does need GG. His reputation has taken a huge hit, and when he moves up to MW, GG will be the man to fight. Who else can he fight? He won't go back to JMW. He won't go to SMW. Nobody cares about Cotto. He can't fight Manny. He can't fight Floyd again. Brook is fighting Spence. Who is there? Possibly a Chavez rematch depending on the outcome of their fight. After that, there's nothing, not if GG has beaten Jacobs and BJS. Again: Once those guys have been beaten by either GG or Canelo, there's only one relevant fight at the weight for either guy: against each other. Yes, GG needs Canelo from a financial perspective. But if it doesn't happen, he's got lots of other potential opponents for good money. Canelo simply hasn't got a lot of other options. He'll be fighting at MW against GG's leftovers with immense pressure upon his shoulders. Also: he needs GG to obtain his biggest payday. The only advantage Canelo has is his age.

This is what I've tried to explain to the rubes for a while now. But all they look at is, "Canelo sold more PPVS....he don't need 3G..."

    Freakin simpletons....

I think this clown is trying to pull me up on spelling. Unfortunately for him, he's embarrassed himself again. Idiot that @Nay_Sayer is, he didn't know that 'realise' with an 's' not a 'z' is how the we spell the word in England, home of the english language.

Perhaps even more embarrassing is his total lack of attempt to back up his assertion that Golovkin vs Lemiuex sold 97k not 150k as reported. So, yes you are a total ****ing idiot Nay Sayer.

    Challenged?

    There was no challenge.

There is no reliable source for the Bumlovkin Lemieux PPV buy rate seeing as the *official* numbers were NEVER released. 150k, 97K, 1mil, etc - it doesn't matter as it's ALL speculation or outright BS [as is definitely the case with the 150k #]. What we do know is this; Bumlovin in NOT a draw and $15 mil represents THREE times more than his biggest payday to date. Canelo, OTOH, can fight a NOBODY from the UK and fill the AT&T Stadium. I wonder how much did Cinnamon make to KO that British flavored TOMATO CAN? I'm sure it was SIGNIFICANTLY more that what the Triple Duck makes to knock over his TOMATO CANs in front of considerably SMALLER crowds.

Fact the FACTS, Bumlovkinites - Lower Case G needs Alvarez. Alvarez doesn't need the Triple Duck...
