Dude... Did you see how he was reacting in the 3rd rd? He kept putting his glove up to the eye where the injury occurred, how his eye puffed up is definitely in line with what an orbital fracture looks like. Difference between that an Margarito is that he was taken out by his team 2 rounds later, where as Margarito was pummeled for 12 full rounds...

Anyone know how this became a Eubank thread??

To mention cej and kell brook in the same sentence is laughable.

It was a legitimate example of how Brook didn't gain all this muscle that everyone has claimed, he just didn't drain like he does @ 147lb. Brook has always been a muscular guy, he has a crazy bf% @ 147lbs but @ 160lbs he's an average joe, which makes sense if he just gained fat and water and not muscle.

CEJ should come for Brooks teeth he stole 1 year of his career

His eye injury on he surface is in line with many orbital fractures you'll see on Google, also the X-ray confirms it. Are you saying that he, his team and medical doctor all collaborated in an elaborate conspiracy to lie about the injury and then fabricate evidence? Do you realize what you're saying here?

There's a chance venturing up to 160lbs will make him a weaker and slower fighter at 147lbs. I think he'll be fine though. He naturally is a 154lb fighter so he's only really cutting that weight. If he was a legit 160lbs boxer going down this weight I think he'd come unstuck. Kell's been at this weight for a long time so he knows what it takes to get in shape come fight night.

im saying...manny pacquiao made excuses about a rotator cuff...now ....did he had discomfort in his shoulder? maybe....but they basically tried to put it out and make it sound as if he had a torn rotator cuff which we all know was not true......sometimes info gets put out by a group and it tends to get run with by the media..or the info is put out with a spin...im not saying you are wrong....youve prob spent more time looking into this particular subject(brooks eye) than i have.....im just saying..i dunno if its as severe as some would like to make it sound.....i mean some people probably are out there acting like ggg shattered his face or something

To me Brook's eye looked a bit worse than Pac's shoulder lol, that being said I think it will be ok for this fight. Brook has a good team and they would not have put him in against Spence straightaway if they thought the eye was a problem. Weight is more likely to be an issue, but once again he has a good team looking after his diet and plan; I'm confident he'll make 147 alright.

Anyway, as tee_birch said, full credit to both men: Brook for taking the worst reward/risk ratio fight in the WW division, Spence for travelling to the UK and taking arguably the hardest route to a world belt. May the best man win!

He fractured his orbital bone, and had his team not taken him out when they did it probably would have been a lot worse. There's no misinfo here, just cold hard facts. Fortunately for Brook, his family and the fans his team took him out when they did.. Otherwise this fight probably wouldn't be happening right now.

yeah theres no question to me that there was little, to nothing, wrong with pacs shoulder.....i can buy a brook injury....but think about pac for a minute...all they had to do was put it out there and people ate it up...some wahoos even claiming he fought with a torn rotator cuff.....as if somehow floyd fought a one armed fighter...lol...i mean ....thats what happened....some people actually believed that.....all pac had to do was say "rotator cuff injury".......thats why im a little curious about brooks....i def agree there appears to be much more legitimacy to brooks .....i just wonder if it wasnt minor but made to sound a little worse....so they had a legit reason to stop it before he got really hurt
