I really doubted that Brook would make the Roy Jones mistake of going back down in weight. Now that he has decided to come down for this ass whupping, he has my respect. He's right there next to Chris Algeri.
Sets a dangerous precedent. Any type of drug test positive and the bidder forfeits the amount with no fight and no return. This will drive down fight bids. Stupid decision.
LOLLOLOLOOLLOLO LMFAO. LOLOLOLOLOLO, remember before when you said Deontay would fight Povetkin 100% next and how he would not get 1 penny? LOLOLOLOLOLLO!!!!
Well, we knew you'd say that. This stupidity damages boxing in a wider sense. If you don't fight you should not get paid the full whack unless it's equal to compensation for a camp, flights etc.. not $4.5m.
Ok, but answer me this, how about the money he would have gotten fighting someone else? How about that money? He lost a good paycheck because of those months he wasted with the Povetkin fight. Maybe 4.5 was a little excessive, but he should get way more than airplane tickets, camp costs. Maybe 1/2 of a purse (Another fight)... etc Why should Wilder have to suffer entirely for someone else's faults? It makes no sense.
But the cost from Wilders team and training did and traveling he did. Do you think the Russian should pay or no?
