Great if this fight happens but don't expect the Canelo fight this year. Canelo isn't going near GGG anytime soon.

Win over Jacobs, BJS and El Pollo makes him P4P #1, but probably he won´t get the chance to do it.

1.) El Pollo won´t fight him if Golovkin destroys Jacobs and BJS (which is expected).
2.) BJS won´t fight Golovkin if Jacobs is destroyed.
3.) if Jacobs is better than El Pollo and BJS, there is a small risk he surprises us all (5-10 %).

 

In the best scenario, Golovkin will fight two of them, Jacobs being one of them and probably one more decent money fight (Eubank jr. or N´Dam). In any case, he has had a great run at 160. Unfortunately he could not show case his talent against all the contender. And yes, those duckers should be remembered just contenders and belt holders (Quillin, Cotto, Sturm and probably Canelo). I give Martinez a pass because he was already declined when the fight could have been made business wise, plus Sergio was the victim of the same situation back in the days (coming from small market - Argentina), he had to do it the hard way.

No one in Golovkin's team hasn't said anything about this fight being done. Tureano Johnson is mandatory to Jacobs/Golovkin fight winner. Rafael is writing garbage not something exclusive.

I think this fight might actually materialize. Kazakhstan will pay through the roof and BJS wants to sell his belt for big money. I think that he, just like Fury, is sick of boxing. It's hard to get up for a 6 am run when you sleep in silk pajamas, and the poor lad has a bit of money now. He doesn't spend it lavishly so the 2 mil or so that he wI'll get after taxes and payouts should be enough to last him for a long while. Plus there is always a chance BJS loses to his two mandatories and that is a risk he can not afford to take.
