He's right though. A mandatory can be delayed if it's for a unification bout.

That means your assumption is wrong

I doubt they will reach agreement, even if Tureano Johnson is not forced upon Golovkin.Besides Saunders will most likely fight Canelo next.

BJS doesn't have 2 mandatories or unifications don't take precedence?

I'd say Premature news. There are some variables that need to be resolved first.

What are those variables? I hope this fight happens! Though if GGG wins I can see one of the governing bodies stripping him of one of his titles if he faces Canelo next (although as I'm typing this I realise Canelo is the WBO mandatory)

Like I said in the OP, this is straight from the Dan Rafael chat. It is not confirmed or anything.

Hopefully, for the sake of the town, Dan doesn't attend. His presence could possibly wipe out the town's grain storage bin.

The major variables are two things: 1) GGG should beat DJ; and 2) it's not Team GGG who would pay for the fight but the KZ state who organises EXPO2017. If there is a contract with 3 parties, it usually becomes a lot more complicated time-wise, logistically, politically, etc.
