My god, this is such a poor match up, I really wanted Beterbiev or Barerra to have fought for this title eliminator instead. Stevenson hasn't fought a top 10 guy in nearly 3 years, he really needs to change his name from Superman to Lois Lane. This Sean Monaghan guy is 28-0, without one top 40 name on his resume. I watched some his last fight and he was getting caught alot by a journey man, Stevenson is gunna knock him smooth out. Stevenson should have given some like a Joe smith Jr a title shot, he deserves after his last two fights. Really hopes someone gets rid of Stevenson, he is so inactive and fights bums whenever he gets a chance, at least be active if your only gunna fight poor fighters.

Alvarez has Bute coming up this month I think, yeah Smith Jr is the fight to make both are punchers. I think Gvozdyk is the mandatory for the WBA although I could be mistaken, I'm pretty sure Alvarez/Bute winner will become the mandatory. p.s. Gvozdyk is like number 6 in most of the rankings, WBA mandatory is Cleverly/Braehmer winner, WBO is Kovalev basically and IBF is Beterbiev/Barerra winner.

Hmm that's strange cos Alvarez is no.1 in the ranking and has the WBC silver belt I think. Not that I'm complaining glad it's Gvozdyk, hopefully he gets rid of Stevenson.
... and that's all he's good for. Tune-ups. I want to see Stevenson vs Beterbiev/Gvozdyk/Smith Jr, any of those would make me very happy.
Clearly not Stevenson, I defended this guy in the Kovalev debacle but his opponents since then are a joke.
At least Wilder is active, although they are very similar in that they get the luxury of fighting a lot of soft voluntary in a row.
