I don't think anyone seriously thinks this fight will be on the level.

This will go beneath the usual low standards of fake professional boxing into full WWE-style fakery.
And I doubt it will be anywhere near as entertaining as pro wrestling.

OK, I realize it's only sparring, but take a look at this video and then tell me that
McGregor has more than a snowball's chance in hell at even landing a punch on
    Floyd.

Nobody outside of the US is interested in a farce like this. Remember wrestling does PPV numbers in the USA, *NOT* outside.

It definitely does more than 2 million, if you think otherwise you got no understanding of commerce or economics...

I think it does around 3 million, but it will be a more popular fight than MayPac.

You're wrong. This will be the greatest sporting event since Maximus defeated Commodus in the arena.
Bigger than the moon landing. Mongols in their yurts will have their eyes glued to their TV's.
Headhunters in Papua New Guinea will stop what they're doing and stream it live. ISIS will declare
a fatwa on suicides during the bout. Pope Francis will skip Mass. Trump won't twitter.

Mcgregor will be hit harder, and more often than at any other time in his career, he will also be punching air and made to look a fool.
At some point during this one sided schooling Mcgregor will get desperate, this will be his undoing and the ref will have to save him.

This is a crude sloppy rookie against a master technician.

This is not even a question, Conor mcgregor would not get past a top 50 welterweight, let alone floyd. This is a joke fight and they both know it, I've never seen a person more arrogant and open about ripping people off than mcgregor. The guy charged PPV for a ****ing Q&A, 5,000 ******s also paid to go watch it live. When you can make your braindead fan base buy that then you can convince them of anything, even that you have a shot at beating mayweather despite being useless at boxing.

Not sure PBF hits as hard as an 80kg Nate Diaz in 4oz gloves. Agree the volume will be a lot more.

if fighters who train all their life focusing on boxing cant beat Mayweather Connor (a man who is great in another sport that's very different) who does not primarily focus on boxing is never going to touch Floyd.

I think the Pacquiao hurt Floyd more that people realize. The Berto fight totally tanked and hopefully this will do the same. Can't wait to see how Floyd is going to try to sucker the public in this one. Won't bother to pick a winner since this is nothing but an exhibition fight. :ciao:

    This a 70-30 fight, Floyd has been retired for a year+ and he's 40.

Mcgregor is at the prime of his career with great power.
