I disagree with a lot of that, but this is a more reasoned post than I was expecting. So I will apologize for the harsh tone in my earlier post. Please see my replies:

Please stop and examine the logic for this, if GGG wanted to duck Jacobs he would have already vacated when he would presumably not have to pay a financial penalty for cancelling the fight. All negotiation sources say that Jacobs wanted big money and in the end K2 decided that it was better to give him what he wanted than fight another mismatched opponent.

Honestly this is exactly the same argument as the clowns who said that they would not believe Ward would dare to fight Kovalev until he was in the ring.

True, but let's say you were on Golovkin's team. Would you advise K2 to take the Ward fight like Kovalev did? I wouldn't, although as a fan I really, really wish it happened.

But my point was that it was mostly incompetence + opponents ducking rather than GGG being a coward. It takes two to tango, and if those people had the balls to fight Golovkin, he would've had a good resume. Universum purposely didn't let Golovkin fight any good names for 5 years b/c they wanted to protect Felix Sturm (the most blatant ducker of the lot), in the end Golovkin had to go to court to get free of their clutches.

I have stated before that I think Golovkin should and will end up taking the $15 million.

But please be intellectually honest here, the Twitter source which is quoted for GGG-Lemiuex 97k ppv buys is the same source which gave Canelo-Khan 350k buys, which we know to be false. ESPN and the other reliable media sources give 150k and 600k respectively.
