Corrie Sanders was truly awesome fighter. When he fought Vlad he was in the best shape of his life, he had been preparing to fight Valouev in South Africa, then suddenly Klaus Peter Kohl picked Corrie as his opponent. I tired to talk them out of that fight, Vlad was disappointed in the fight, but I knew that Corrie was dangerous, esp. Corrie in top shape.................Vlad did not even bother to spar for that fight. He has just TKO'd Jameel McCline who was on top at that time, it was a huge let down. If not for being boycotted from the Olympics, Corrie would have easily won a gold medal, he was that good, extremely fast, his nickname was "The Sniper", he was extremely dangerous early. Lennox Lewis admitted that he avoided Corrie, Corrie was 6 feet 5 inches tall, a southpaw, extremely quick, natural athlete.

What about a 29 YEAR old, dedicated, ripped to shreds Sanders, coming in to the ring at 220 lbs, an 8 week camp full of training, not drinking beer, playing golf and eating bas food, with excellent stamina and ring movement, and the same power,hand speed and sneakiness shown against decent opponents? We have a fight folks..... That left could starch just about anyone.
