What is hilarious is how little money there would be in a GGG-Ward fight. You saw what a joke Ward-Kovalev was money wise. It didn't draw squat. GGG made more money with Brook and will make more with Saunders and Canelo than he against Ward.

 

even before the fight "didn't do squat" the money was known...kovalev wasn't really making squat...but he still wanted/took the fight....cause kovalev will fight anyone who they say is the best...that's why he has respect....ggg will not

You don't know diddly squat about the British boxing scene. The Saunders fight makes nothing. His last fight was fought in a tiny leisure centre in Scotland. He has no Sky or PPV platform backing him.
GGG isn't any more of a money man than Ward. His only PPV did LESS than Wards only PPV. A fight with Ward would undoubtedly do more buys than Jacobs.

There is little interest in that fight from anyone who is not a hardcore boxing fan. Nobody knows who Ward is. He isn't a draw, has a tiny fan base, and can't sell tickets. For sure you can understand the difference between hardcore boxing fans on a forum and your average Joe at work who talks sports by the water bucket? Yes, I would expect people who care enough to post on a boxing forum to start threads. That is a very small minority of people.

 

HBO and Kovalev were sure interested in fighting ward weren't they...so much they paid ward almost 2 mil for a sparring session with brand.......see some guys are interested in fighting the best and finding out who the best are....I guarantee you've slammed other fighters for taking money fights over taking on the top guys before.....but here you want to talk about what sells and whos interested in paying for certain fights......transparent boxing fans.....
