He's already unified champion isn't he? winning all belts makes you the undisputed unless i'm mistaken

 

I also think this is the year that Golovkin will become undisputed.
Frank Warren aint born yesterday. The WBA, by putting Canelo as mandatory ahead of everyone, just killed the bidding war that Warren was salivating for. Golden Boy can wait for the purse bid, and bring BJS to the states.
And that scenario brings the least amount of money to Warren. So, a huge unification PPV fight in the UK would be his best option, financially.
And a fight at home would suit BJS better. If he goes to the States, he'll come as nobody and leave as nobody. But if he unifies with GGG at home in a mega-fight, he'll receive the glamour attention from all the UK media and get his " 15 mins" of fame. And if he loses to Golovkin, aint no shame in that.
So, more money and more buzz&hype for BJS if he fights GGG at home.
There's also a small chance that the Kazakh government would pay Warren a ridiculous amount of money to bring the WBO to Astana, but I doubt that will happen.
A fight in the UK will most certainly also please the BT Sport ownership. Such a huge fight will bring a lot of attention to their tv network and they will enter the boxing broadcasting world with a splash.

I'd like to see someone make a case for BJS bringing his belt to TX or Nevada.

Canelo is not the MW champion, he chose to not defend at MW, went to JMW and won a title, now is
going above MW to make a money fight with Chavez JR. Canelo has abdicated any right or claim
to the MW title by his actions. Golovkin is the MW champion.

For some strange reason I feel Andy Lee and Peter Quillen would have been bigger threats to GGG but the universe has chosen Jacobs and BJS. I give both a 30% shot which is decent coming from a guy like myself that plays plenty of poker.

 

Andy Lee has expressed interest a while back, but nothing of recent. He's fighting on the 3G/Jacobs undercard though.

Quillin wanted....what did he say..."Mayweather Pacquiao money" to face him. I like Quillin, but he dropped his belt rather then face Korobov a while back too, which could tell you about his intentions to face 3G.
