there's a difference between being asked a question and offering a statement. However, i can concede he's at least admitted that much.

You see ASOL, it's nothing to admit a mistake or being wrong. You just turn in to a stubborn little c*nt over being wrong.

lol canelo has become a joke. vacated his belt and ran away . they should just fight and do a 50/50 split that way no ones being greedy. 10m and 15m offers to ggg are jokes if canelos gonna get triple that much.

15 million dollars. Take it or leave it Golovkin. Balls on his court.

Canelo earned 5 mil against Cotto who earned 17 mil.

That's how you get someone in the ring.

The only thing Canelo talks about is the Chavez fight, can you point out at what time he brings up GGG and Cotto?

GGG would beat the sh*t out of that lineup.

Start watching it at the 3:55 mark.

He's asked if his plans are still Chavez, then GGG, then Cotto, and he responds by saying he hopes so, that he's already sent GGG a good offer, but that despite saying that he doesn't fight for money that is what they chase after the most, that Golovkin thinks he's bigger/more important than what he really is.

It's not about a sum, it's about a percentage. 15 mil is a lot compared to 100k a year. 15 mil is short change compared to 40+ that could be made by Canelo, given that GGG has 3 belts, an undisputed title in near future (seeing how BJS is planned for his next fight) and virtually all trump cards except monetary at the weight. GGG NEEDS Canelo but don't you even for a second think Canelo doesn't need GGG. People are publically shaming Alvarez and there are only so many sons of Mexican legends out there.

I don't know. But common sense would be that he better sign by May so they can promote the fight and start training camps. So 3 months to find his pen is my guess to how much time GGG has.

GGG has sold at best 150K PPVs. GGG as a B side in England was able to help Brook sell 16K tickets.

Canelo has sold 2.4 million PPVs as a A side
And 2.2 million as a B side for a grand total of around 4.6 million ppvs.
Also in Canelo's last fight against an unknown fighter he was able to sell over 50K tickets.

    4.6 million ppv > 150K ppv
    50K tickets > 16K tickets

Err excuse me but err Didn't Cotto have a bogus title he stole off a cripple ?? I think he did LOL
What does Canelo have ?? Nothing !! No title!! He meekly handed that title back like a sniveling coward
Canelo brings NOTHING to the table for GGG only a huge pay day for beating a coward. Canelo has the chance to become the Undisputed Middleweight Champ. Oscar should pay a fair price to GGG for giving Canelo that opportunity

    Got it, thanks.

I just think it's a matter of percentages. Canelo will be getting a purse, upside on PPV, plus the revenue from his Mexican TV contract.

Everyone against GGG says he's ducking him with the money issue, but as someone stated this is a legacy defining fight. As much for Golovkin as Canelo. And these are PRIZEFIGHTERS!

I can see why someone would believe Golovkin is ducking, but at the same time I can see why Golovkin would want a more generous pay day.

If Golovkin prices himself out, he may retire without a legacy defining fight and will likely be fogotten. Menawhile Canelo will still be in his prime building his legacy.
