In it's crudest possible form, I could gather a group of people of what I would consider different races into a room, and ask them to write down on pieces of paper, without showing me, what "race" they think they are. I could then predict what they wrote on the pieces of paper with almost 100% accuracy.

That would demonstrate that not only does a concept such as "race" exist, but that people also agree on what the terms of engagement are.

Further to this, there are actual scientific studies done on the different characteristics of races, and while very often the differences are minor, they nevertheless exist, beyond the obvious differences in melanin etc.

 

No your quotations that you have sourced & specifically used to counter clearly do though. If they are not scientific and have no real meaning why are you using them to counter in a debate? Your retorts have no meaning & are not scientific is that what you are saying? This is what you get for plagiarizing & not being able to think for yourself

Ummmm. There's a certain amount of truth to what he says. Genetic variation between indigenous Africans is greater than between Europeans, for example. And the blacks here can spot "another" african from a mile away. So can I, to an extent.
