It doesn't matter when it happened because it happened. Can't fall back on the 2nd fight thing anymore. He lost and his people felt that he was ready.
Yes he did lose to a guy who had no intention on doing the fight fair. Salido not only missed weight (on purpose I believe) but also fouled throughout again st a guy in his 2nd pro fight and still only scraped a win. Now before you say I'm bitching, I like Salido and imo it was a great learning experience for Lomo who took it for granted that he'd win and has upped his game since. What is ominous is that it is Lomo pushing for the rematch whilst Salido is looking for any excuse not to do it again. My initial point still stands though for as good as Crawford is if he'd have fought a Salido, GRJ, Martinez, Walters type opponent in his first 8 fights he wouldn't have an 0 either.
not close guys....... Crawford a true pro, He basically cleaned out 140LBS, Lomo for all that pretty footwork, is not a pure boxer. he gets hit a bit in the exchange, and is more of an in out fighter who like to ambush like gamboa. Pocket fighting is his weakness, Solido showed us this, if mikey and Marques can wash Solido, that means Lomo looks great against certain styles. We know his weakness, pressure. Being pretty in the ring looks great, but if ya face is marked uo, that means you took shots. Lomo top 5, but Crawford is a top 2......The guy CV is glistening. *Gamboa *Ricky Burns *Postol *Beltran *Dulorme *Bredis prescot all contenders or former champs.... He is a beast. He is May part two. hardly tagged, out boxes guys, switches, good power, and punch selection, and constant adjustment. We looking at Spence to probably beat him......Lomo needs to fight Gamboa, lets see how he handles that , do you guys reckon a K08 for Lomo, I dont, Mikey Garcia a danger fight for him too, and Mikey knows Crawford will beat him, Crawford beat him twice already in the amateurs...........Guys Thinks, There are levels. Lomo is great, Crawford is special , a real Pro
They are alike. You just don't want to admit it because Salido popped LoMo's cherry and took his "0".
Let me know when Molina was ever a champion and actually beaten anybody remotely decent other than the Siberian punchbag. Molina is a tough journeyman that is all. And as ive already said if Crawford had fought a Salido,Walters, GRJ or Martinez type opponent in his first 8 fights he wouldn't be undefeated either. The fact you are trolling about a guy losing in a title challenge in only his second fight only to win it in his 3rd and by 7 fights be a 2 weight world champion says all we need to know about you Spencer.
Salido has lost to every elite fighter that he's faced except Loma who you guys consider elite and he beat Loma.
No a bunch of truths. The fact you are clinging onto a loss in a challenge for a title in his 2nd pro fight only to be a 2 weight world champion by his 7th. Tell me again how many fights did it take for Crawford to be come a 2 weight champion?
We don't care about his first 7 fights. If that's the case you can try that with every fighter in the history of the sport. He was roughed up by Salido, showed no left hand or true infighting skills and came on late but clearly lost.
