    Joe Smith is the interim champion for **** sake. DHow does Adonis make money at this point fighting the fringes of 175 like he's a beast? No Kovalev, No Ward and not even a guy coming off a great year and defeating a legend can get this bum in the ring?

    Smith is a nobody and there is no money in that fight. Of course Stevenson don't want to waste his time facing a nobody.
    He's publicly stated he wants Ward or Kovalev, but the promoters haven't released any info on offers.
    **** Smith! I want to see Stevenson-Ward or Stevenson-Kovalev.
    Let Smith face Williams Jr. or Pascal or Chilimba.

    He's making money, he gets 2M per fight, thats what Al pays him, it's on his contract. But thats also the reason for his inactivity, because he's not a draw, they cant afford to lose money on him 3x, 4x a year. And I read in the local press here, he dont wanna take a paycut so he can fight more often. I know he's 40, but come on....I dont like him at all but I enjoy to watch him fight.

    I suspect he wont fight until September.
    He's waiting for the winner of Bute/Alvarez. And I bet Superman and GYM will be rootin for Bute, to cash in on the romanian's name

    James, I need you to use that 10% part of your brain that still functions. Joe Smith put a beating on Hopkins and ended the old POS's career. Kovalev couldn't do that. Joe Smith destroyed Fonfara in one round. The Raping Pimp was unable to do that. Joe Smith was/is a very legit foe and people want to see it.

    Sean Monagnan was not able to finish sparring with beterbiev. Lol and Sean had difficulty in his last fight .....
