Mayweather was endowed with God Given incredible boxing talent. But was cursed with the courage of a gnat Had he used that talent wisely he could well have been TBE or close to it. He took the path of least resistance and avoided many of his legitimate opponents. The opponents he did fight were all made to agree to demands giving Mayweather every advantage. Add to this the clouds of suspicion of cheating hanging over his head culminating in the travesty of May 1 & 2 2015 & IV gate That deal should have been thoroughly investigated but instead an attempted cover up that failed to convince anyone was all we got Sorry Floyd but you are nowhere near TBE & one of the reasons youre not is seen in your mirror every day. Just my personal opinion for what its worth
Pac was a teenager fighting grown men to feed his family to compare his pro debut with Floyd is ludicrous
Everyone, if they are honest, know Floyd is not TBE ROFL!!! They also know he is a PED's cheat. That is easily proven. Just do as I did & ask any doctor or nurse that works in emergeancy & deal with Saline drips every day. Tell them you know someone who was required to provide a urine sample but couldn't do so. So they gave him a saline drip of 750 ml so he could produce one. Watch their reaction. They'll laugh at you. They'll tell you same as they have told me. Anyone that needed 750 ml of saline for dehydration would be in ICU while they tried to save his kidneys shutting down. Another thing they all asked was " Where did they get 750 ml of saline from does he keep a stock at home" ??? All Mayweather said as an excuse was " My urine was dark err very dark " Mayweather CHEATED !! CHEATERS are not eligible to be called ATG's That is my honest personal opinion for what its worth
Maidana had to rush him the first fight that was his only chance and he still lost lol. Kids these days Maidana paced himself in the 2nd fight and lost. You have to jump on Floyd early point blank period once he gets comfortable it's over
I think you have a personal vendetta against Floyd and nothing that anyone says will ever change that. making **** up to 'prove a point' will quickly turn you into 'the boy who cried wolf'.
He has a case. The problem is, Mayweather has controlled the sport. We're now seeing further evidence of this in the worst kind with people ducking fighters in order to choose the most financially viable option. This sort of behaviour leaves fighters with ATG talent like Rigondeaux and Lomachenko blacklisted by fighters. It's a farce and *****s defend it because their Lord God Mayweather has been guilty of this.
The only people who think Mayweather is TBE is Paulie Malignaggi who has a very transparent agenda that even Floyd can see, and casuals who think Mayweather can beat Mike Tyson because Mayweather is undefeated.
He did what he needed to do to win fights in the eyes of all 49 sets of judges who were at ringside. Who knows what level he would have reached had he been pushed harder by ATGs? I agree all three names listed above are a level above anyone Floyd fought and, in reality, your criticism of Floyd is really a criticism of those who shared a ring with him too, including the hugely disappointing Manny. Faded or not he proved an easy night's work. You cannot say with such certainty that better opposition wouldn't have brought out a better Mayweather. And I cannot say for certain they would.
The 'judges' argument isn't particularly a valid one in my view. Chavez apparently earned a draw vs Whitaker and there are numerous robberies - how about the one that most in this forum can't handle i.e Ward being given 114-113 on all three judges scorecards. That's balanced and I agree there. We have seen evidences of him adapting to hardship, but we've also seen evidence of him shutting down during moments. Being pushed harder does bring the champion out in fighters so that is possible, but unfortunately we don't have enough credible evidence of this primarily because he never fought anyone of note at-or-near prime to assess his ability on a TBE level. I certainly do criticise who he shared the ring with too, that includes Manny given how semi-shot he was, and it wasn't an easy night's work at all and it should never be said as such. I scored it all three times as 116-112, a fight won on the basis of one or two punches (mostly light punch) each round in a fight that likes prime Pacquiao's chances even more than I originally thought (I saw it as a 50:50 fight prime for prime, maybe slightly in favour of Mayweather but after MayPac15, I'd probably give the very slight edge to Pac, prime for prime). I honestly don't rate very high the Pac that beat Bradley. In 2014, I made a thread saying I didn't want the MayPac fight to happen anymore because Pac is dire.
I stopped after I read 2-1-1 I don't do hypothetical losses if that where the case Manny would have more losses and so would Canelo. You can't pick and choose who you want to give a win too. Floyd is 49-0. I was totally gonna read it completely but again I don't do hypothetically losses because Floyd didn't fill out score cards.
