Lara (while not in the same league as Ward, would be a reasonable Canelo surrogate) has been trying to get GGG into the ring for how many years now and would be 3G's best opposition to date. You can claim nobody good is willing to fight him, but at some point, it becomes Golovkin's responsibility to secure skilled opponents. GGG's resume pales in comparison to Oscar's and therefore , at 154, The Golden Boy must be the favorite in any fantasy matchup. Fishnets and all.
agreed....but you are trying to talk sense into golovkin fanboy/excuse makers....theres no sense in trying to do that ward tried, after his paul smith, to get a fight with golovkin at 168....anyone with any sense knows this....k2 declined swiftly and ward realized there was nothing else at 168 that interested him....... golovkin excuse makers will use these two excuses 1. "golovkin was already signed to fight lemiueux when ward reached out"...of course ward never asked him to cancel that fight...only to discuss meeting down the road after that fight......but golovkin fans ignore this......but you when you point this out they jump to excuse #2 2. "ward wanted multiple tuneups"....but wait? that doesn't jive with excuse #1....did ward want to fight right away and want him to cancel the lemeiux fight? or did he want all these tuneups? lol theres also there other excuse "ward couldn't make 168 anymore".....ward fought paul smith at 175..he let smith come in at 176....ward himself came in at 171....half way between 175 and 168 in the event that he could get the golovkin fight and go back...if ward said he could/would make 168 for golovkin hes given us no reason to not believe him ive long agreed with what you said "at some point it becomes golovkins responsibility"....ive long said this....but his fans will point fingers at anyone and everyone else ..not once admitting gggs fault
