Kirkland and Khan are Glass Jawed fighters. Those KO's are meaningless.

    70% KO ratio
Also had Lara and Cotto fighting more defensive than you or I have EVER seen them fight.

    Like I said. Above average.

Where are the KO's? Kirkland and Khan don't count. Both Glass Jawed. You have to go all the way back to 2011 for a proper KO. That isn't having above average power. Lara always is a boring defensive fighter.

Bloody silly really if we dissect every fighters record they could be deemed overrated punchers except AJ but his sample size is so small.

GGG has only 1 real 1 punch ko and even he (Ishida) wasn't unconscious, he must be an average puncher.

Angulo knocked down Rosado about 3-4 times in less than 2 rounds, GGG couldn't even hurt him in half a dozen, he only got stopped because he has paper skin.

See GGG hits like a truck, but I could do this all day.

As I've said countless times, to the point of doing 2 or 3 threads about it:lol: Canelo's power is vastly overrated. He KO's guys he's supposed to KO impressively, a true KO artist impressively KO's guys he's not suppose to KO, and thus far Canelo hasn't done that yet.

Canelo's power is quite a bit over rated. He landed flush shots on Cotto, and Cotto didn't do the Cotto shuffle. Recall, that Canelo was landing his best on Angulo, and Angulo was taking it. The fight was stopped because it wasn't competitive, not because Angulo was being hurt bad. Canelo also fought 140 pound midget Lovemore N'Dou. Despite Canelo landing his best punches on the old, past it, South African, N'Dou last the full distance with no problem, outside of being outweighed by 30 pounds in the ring. Canelo also fought an old shopworn Shane Mosely, and couldn't hurt him.

Canelo's power is overrated. His power among the world class is average at best.

Cotto's chin though is underrated. In the Margarito fight it wasn't really his chin that failed him. It was his heart.

Against Pac the first Knockdown he was caught off balance by a weird unexpected right hook. The second knockdown was a flush hookercut right to the neck and jaw that he didn't see. From that point it was really accumulation that did him in.

The man actually does have a solid chin.

Wtf, canelo knocked Kirk OUT, ishida caught Kirk off balance a couple times the 3 kd wicked dumb rule was the only reason there was a tko win. Tko means technical ko. What canelo did to Khan and Kirk is what knocking one OUT is. not that surprising we have posters that don't know the huge difference between a true ko and a technical stoppage is. Par for this board

Maybe it was a case of canelo not really catching cotto with anything he didn't see coming... which matters a lot. Pac and Mays quickness might have allowed them to land shots that caught cotto off guard.

Well I've seen some stoppages where a ref looks at a guy on the canvas and is like F the count and stops the fight. Often times that goes down as a TKO.
