I figured he'd be able to stand up to Browne's power, which isn't all that impressive, he went the distance with Cornelius White whereas Kovalev took him out in 3 and Williams took him out in 1. And the way he gassed late against Radivoje, I thought Williams would tough out the ealier rounds and stop him late.

    Oh well:lol:

Was not impressed by Avanesyan, Peterson should win this comfortably.

No lie, Claressa Shields might currently be the best p4p fighter in Al Haymon's stable (assuming she is actually signed, yes? With both her debut and sophomore effort both coming on PBC events?)

...and up there with the best American boxers active today.

Avanesyan looks a bit like a cross between young Vic Darchinyan and Prince Naz.

Peterson wins a solid, routine decision. He's better in every area but of course not a ko artist, and Avenesyan is fit and durable. Not expecting anything too entertaining. But with low expectations let's see what happens.

If there ever happens to be a historic Man Vs Female boxing event, Shields will be the female.
LOL. Many a female would tune in to see a women beat on a man and get paid to do it.

I'd pick her to KO1 Peter Quillin in a shootout.

Her debut opponent was a very solid amateur herself, and her sophomore opponent has only lost to bad asses. She is being matched tough early on. People have a lot of faith in her to become the next big crossover star for women's boxing, picking up the long-dormant baton left on the ground by Ann Wolfe and Laila Ali.
