    The fact that he managed to beat and/or have close fights against those guys suggests he was on good form.

    The fact that some of the the fights were close doesn't suggest that he wasn't on good form it simply suggests that he wasn't much better than those guys at the time.

    The Ward/Froch fight.
    I scored for Ward by a couple of points but to me there were many close rounds whichever way someone scores it. I didnt think it was a schooling by any stretch of the imagination

    Not sure what you are going on about. Take away Hopkins and Jones from Calzaghes resume and its still by far the best SMW resume ever.
    Really not sure what you find to be double standards?

    Which falls into what I said earlier but I cant see that boiled down faded G Johnson was on good form as he has many losses at SMW

    Golovkins Resume is on par with Wards

    Jacobs = Kovalev (both very huge punchers if GGG stops him it will be a huge statement)
    Lemuiex = Froch
    Brook = Dawson
    Stevens = Barrera
    Murray = Kessler
    Macklin = Miranda
    Wade = Bika

    If GGG stops Canelo he sure as hell surpasses Ward career to date

    Too early to be smoking crack, bro.

    Way too early.

    GGG's resume isn't even half of what Ward's is, not even 25%.

    I don't even know where to start with this, especially when 'Jacobs = Kovalev' isn't the most ridiculous thing said there. I quite like GGG but be real please

    Ok name me one win that Kovalev has that is more dominate than Jacobs? Don't say Hopkins, Pascal or Cleverly

    I was actually being Generous because Jacobs beat Quillin which is a more significant win than anything Kovalev has done.

    This is a joke isn't it, you're either insane or at the wind up. Danny Jacobs is a good middleweight but that's it, Kovalev is a killer who just gave Andre Ward, an all time great a very tough fight.

    I'd love to hear your reasoning for 'Murray = Kessler'.....

    Kovalev arguably beat Ward. I was being genereous again because it was a close fight. Jacobs is also a killer at MW and have a very high ko % vs good opposition like Quillin.

    As for Murray and Kessler. Kessler lost to Froch and ATG Calzaghe.

    Murray arguable beat Abraham (in germany), Strum (in germany) and Martinez (in argentina). If those fights were in the UK murrays only defeat wouldve been to GGG.

    I didnt say GGGs resume was better than Wards. I said that they are on par. To surpass Ward GGG would need to beat Canelo and win a title at 168. Ward would need to rematch Kovalev AND fight Beterbiev and Stevenson

    You can tell me a KO against Quillin makes Jacobs the baddest man on the planet as many times as you like, doesnt make it true I mean who has Quillin actually beat?

    As for Murray, I'm a big fan of his and I thought at the time of his fight with GGG he was probably the worlds 2nd best Middleweight but he doesn't touch Kessler. Murray beat Sturm no doubt but he definitely lost the Abraham fight and none of his results come near Kesslers win over Froch.

    His resume is solid. The Super Six itself was over rated as far as talent. The best person outside of Ward was a Calzaghe left over.

    Ward should be defined like Tim Bradley in a way. Top resume but most people think he LOST to his best win. Officially no. It was a gift though.
