In the context you're using it, excuses.

What the f***, you've got to be trolling.

Brook gassed because Jones caved his freaking nose in and made it hard for him to breathe. He didn't magically gas out. A "great chin" isnt shown when a fighter is backpedaling for dear life and proceeds to lose most of the final rounds. I bet those sky commentators gassed you up. Jones went on to fight two more decent fights (considering his journeyman level) and then fought Brook again where as Brook had more time to prepare.

Jones has been stopped 3 times in his 11 losses and it took Brook 20 rounds to TKO him, not even a KO. This is the same Brook who went the distance 3 times with Earnie Smith Come on man. Even Jesus Soto Karass beat Jones in a better manner than Brook.

All im saying when Spence gets Brook hurt like Jones did he will make sure Brook doesnt see the end of that round. Stop overhyping Brook, you're making Jones look way better than he actually is. Let me guess he showed a good chin getting punched the hell up by GGG? Your boy needs milk he obviously doesnt have enough calcium broken orbital bone and nose lol if anything its shown that he has a glass face

Nope. It was well known around this time brook wasn't training properly or making the weight properly. Ofcourse jones breaking brooks nose had an impact too...but its clear, watch the fight brook is way too good for him the first 5/6 rounds then jones comes on strong as brook gasses out..

I dont get the point about the 3kos in 11 kos? surely that shows he has a decent chin given that other than brook he was stopped twice? before brook stopped him he hadn't been stopped in 7 years? I was at the carson jones 2 fight and trust me jones has one hell of a chin

I mean this jones hurting brook is a myth, i cant recall brook ever being wobbled in that fight and looking like he was about to be finished :S he just looked extremely tired..

Wow, I've never seen so many pre-fight excuses. Whoever wins is going to be the better fighter. If it's close, then it will be the better fighter for that night.

I really like what I've seen in Spence thus far and should he beat Brook then Spence is the real deal. Aside from GGG, I think Spence is Brook's toughest fight. I never felt Porter (Brooks' best win) was anything special.

    Are you British?

I only ask because UK fighters are so overhyped these days its rediculous. Khans still in the top 10 at WW because of his name and Brooks looked at as some kind of unbeatable fighter becuase he took a spanking from GGG.

Even Fury (an inactive, roid cheater) is viewed as some kind of God for beating a past prime Klitschko whos already on the decline. God forbid AJ beats him in April

Trust me when Brook loses this fight you guys are all going to make excuses despite choosing Brook to win. He stands absolutely no chance.

I remember clowns on reddit boxing were giving Algieri a great chance to outbox Spence and saying it would be a tough fight for him.

Your username and lack of boxing knowledge suggests to me that you're a spotty teenage American, who gets bullied at school.

Next time you tug yourself senseless over videos of Spence you should try swapping hands, it might feel like one of your parents is doing the tugging, and you will be done quicker.

No point wasting time masturbating over one of your hero's when you could be playing xbox, or talking **** on a boxing forum eh ?

Right. And you also said that Manny Pacquiao was prime, fresh, and young heading into the Mayweather fight.

    Yes i am british.

While I agree somewhat, british fighters never tend to be the absolute best in their division they are solid title holders. I dislike khan (as does most of the uk) but to be fair who should be ahead of him? fight news rankings are...

    1. Thurman
    2. Kell Brook
    3. Danny Garcia
    4. Timothy Bradley
    5. Jessie Vargas
    6. Shawn Porter
    7. Errol Spence
    8. Amir Khan
    9. Marcos Maidana
    10. Devon Alexander
    11.David Avanesyan
    12. Robert Guerrero
    13. Sadam Ali
    14. Andre Berto
    15. Jose Benavidez
    16. Jeff Horn

Who exactly should be ahead of him, lets be fair he hasn't lost at welterweight.

I think it's also unfair to criticize furys win, nobody had beat the guy in over 10 years, whether you think he was past his best is irrelevant he was still winning fights.

As for the brook points i was just speaking facts, as i said it's well known he never used to train properly. kid galahad said he used to just come in for 3-4 weeks and train for guys, he got into a bad habit of thinking he could win every fight easy. It was nothing more than a wake up call for him, since then he has had no struggles with anyone. I think it's funny how some fighters in tough fights its seen as a learning experience and then some who struggle get tagged as the guy who struggled with a poor opponent.

It's great that this fight is happening. Usually other champions/top contenders aren't too thrilled with the idea of leaving their country and fighting for a title in the other man's backyard.

Errol better go in with the pretense that he has to knock Kell out in order to win. He can't leave anything to the judges, regardless of how dominant he may be for a full 12 rounds.

Both men should be commended for taking this match. In Brook's case, this is a quintessential example of a high risk, low reward fight.

I'd say he was pretty damn accurate
If you really believe that was a fully fit and prepared kell in Jones 1 you need your head seeing to
Its command knowledge and he won the majority of that said fight only gassing in the later rounds and had a lack of oxygen in take
