    Patterson
    Johanson
    Liston
    Clay (first Ali)
    Frazier
    Foreman
    Ali(70s)
Norton and Leon Spinks(to me they were not champs)
    Holmes
    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    Lewis
    Vitali
    Wladimir

    how does him against them?
please... the real version of Dempsey 6'1 and 185 pounds, not the fantasy version of 6'6 and 250 pounds.

After the Rocky thread thought I'd do the same with another of histories great under sized champions.

Like the Marciano thread you have to disqualify fighters after the PED explosion in the mid 1980s. Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis and the Klit boys. There is no way of knowing what those guys look like or perform under traditional methods. Those kinds of fighters did not exist before where as before that point everything is pretty equal.

Beats Patterson and Ingo, possibly Norton but loses to the rest, some by devastating knockout.....

It's cool to see that Tommy Gibbons, who did zero at heavyweight, does so much better than an all time heavy talent in Bowe or a guy who controlled the heavyweight division for almost a decade in Wlad.

Keep up the good work. You never fail to disappoint.

But back then the men were much tougher from all the mercury laxatives.
They were such hard man their blood was like liquid metal.

Would Meehan be favoured over Sam Peter?

He was good enough to beat Sam Langford.

i think that he does better than rocky overall, the speed is a big factor in boxing.
Dempsey knocks liston out, and he has a big chance against bowe, wladimir,lewis..
