Salido OBVIOUS duck of lomachenko rematch

    I don't know what Lomachenko was looking at making for a Salido rematch but in his chat of Friday Dan Rafael said Salido was offered more than 600,000 for the rematch.

    I'd need to personally know Dan's source because Loma himself said in a video the offer was $200k.

    Loma and his handlers realized they could not afford a second loss to Salido so they decided to get out the fight by offering a measly percentage of the purse. Good move on their part.

    Lomachenko needs to fight guys similar to Salido. Unless Loma completely exceeds my expectation, it is Salido we're talking about. The guy is better than a Maidana and is at the cusp of elite IMO..the rematch is not going to be a bed of roses either (although I do expect Loma to beat Salido).
    Hopefully Sosa can make things a good learning experience.
