Time for Williams to face Joe Smith. His Maidana style will give Smith fits.

Exactly. Some try to make this spurious argument that somehow you can't comment authoritatively on boxing if you have boxed.

What nonsense! I've been following boxing for 35 years, and know more about the sport, its history, and important trends and personalities in the fight game.

And one thing I have observed over that time is the central importance of punch resistance to success in boxing. Chins MATTER!!

The forum has become overrun lately with Glass Jaw deniers, it never used to be this bad. Anyone who thinks that Thomas Williams doesn't have a Glass Jaw needs to wake up and smell the coffee.

When you've hit the canvas SIX times in your last two fights the chances are you have a Glass Jaw. It's not a difficult concept to understand, Glass Jaws exist in boxing.

The part that you mother****ers don't get is that in this sport, you will hit the canvas. And you're right, it's not a difficult concept to understand. Why you slow ass armchair fanatics who never tried the sport keep commenting like youre some sort of genius is beyond me. I see you 3 as a ******s and many others do also.

I don't know why you are getting so worked up about it. Punch resistance is an important facet of boxing and should be discussed alongside everything else.

Once in a career, you could attribute to some sort of statistical probability. SIX TIMES in the last two fights? That's a glass jaw. See the difference, denier????

He also got dropped against Savigne and White. That's at least 8 times in his career.

So, it's not just a matter of his defense being poor (though it is).

Let me show you why you're ****en slow lol... I don't give a **** about Williams. Somehow your slow ass thinks I'm defending him, but that's why you're ****en slow. But you do that on purpose.

I'm talking about ANY and ALL boxers who go down or even get kod. You and your little ****** friends are punk ass nobodies labeling fighters glass jaw jokes.

You don't fight and you can't walk into a room of fighters and talk glass jaws because then you'd find out quick how you have a glass jaw and they'd only be smacking your punk asses. Imma **** on you clowns every time you talk about any fighter who has a glass jaw armchair. ****en nobodies...

Listen denier, LOTS of fighters have glass jaws, and discerning boxing fans, who know about the importance of punch resistance in this sport, will point that out. Only blind hero-worshiping fanboys like yourself cannot seem to accept that glass jaws exist in boxing.

Sorry to tell you, but if somebody hits the canvas multiple times, chances are they don't have a solid chin. That's called a glass jaw, and it matters in boxing if you have one or not.

You won't say that in a room full of boxers. You'd **** your panties armchair. There is a reason why fighters became fighters and why armchairs became armchairs. ***** boy...

Your argument appears to boil down to a contention that if you are not a fighter, you can't comment on boxing. That's about as ridiculous a statement as I've heard in over ten years on this site, and that's saying something.

You expect this sort of thing from the mindless WWE or MMA crowds - but among boxing fans, this sort of blind, uncritical adulation is fortunately the exception.

Sorry fanboy, glass jaws DO exist in boxing - and yes, some of your heroes have them!
