That's what these little weasels don't understand. They're crying foul, but even Golovkin gets a huge pass for his quality of opponent. I'm surprised they sanction some of his fights, well not really, boxing is corrupt.

 

what is surprising is that they sanction some of the fights top fighters take immediately after losing. especially in europe.

 

This is prize fighting fool.
The prize (MONEY) come first and belts/titles come second.
Everything revolves around the prize and everybody wants a piece of that. Even the belts are about money. If you have one, you earn a bigger prize (Mo Money).
Don't get it twisted that it's about you as a spectator want.

 

If boxing has no spectators, there are no prizes.

 

Golovkin should accept the 15 million but demand that his world titles are not on the line. A world champion deserves a decent cut of the money no matter how much more of a cash cow the other guy is if the belts are on the line.

 

$15M is a great cut of the revenue. More than he's ever earned.
Plus, he already put the titles up for 1/3 of that ($5M) in a flat fee against Brook, and even less against Wade.

 

Boxing will always have spectators and betters. In fact, betters don't even have to view the bout, but hear the results.

 

From what im reading its an awful cut. If GGG gets 15 million what does Canelo get? Im also hearing Canelo will get more than he has ever got before, why is that?

Horse racing has few spectators but is still around.
Hardly anyone watches the lottery, but millions play it.
Boxxing ain't going no where. There will always be boxing.
