    MaCall
    Ferguson
    Tillis
    Coetzer

Id give even Coestzer a good chance of beating Vitali tbh. His movement around the ring would be too problematic for Vitali who is only effective against plodders who walk forward in straight lines.

Brunos jab would bust up vk i can see him being cut and bruised big stile Frank has a good chance of victory by stoppage if vit can take the fight late he can win as Frank runs out of puff.

McCall = He barely did anything all fight. Woke up in the last couple of rounds; had Bruno in trouble. And that version sucked.
Coetzer = decent but limited. No punch, easy to hit.
Tillis = Decent fighter ... but with a list of losses as long as my arm. Beating him isn't newsworthy.
Ferguson = Who hasn't beaten Ferguson?

Vitali's list is far, far more impressive, especially when one considers that he usually dominated his opponents. Sam Peter would have taken care of Bruno's best wins, and so would even the old, fat, retired, golfer Sanders.

Try again with the Klitschko hate.

Bruno may have had a few competitive rounds against Vitali, assuming he was at his best, but he would soon run out of ideas and then gas, as usual. Vitali KO 5-7.

At the time of the stoppage, Klitschko had won 8 of 9 rounds on one judge's scorecard, and 7 of 9 on the two others. Actually, Vitali lost very few rds throughout his entire career, even with badly cut eye against Lennox Lewis, and a severely torn rotator cuff against Chris Byrd.

As far as him not bending at the waist, well that's that just flat out false, as he routinely descended down towards his opponent and aggressively attacked bent down at the waist, neglecting his own height advantage, as opposed to moving backward, using the jab at distance. No hooks? One of his most effective punches against Lewis was the hook. This was the case in many of his knockout victories. How often do you effectively see 6'9 260 lb men moving like a Usyk? Fury? Who else? Not Joshua, not Wilder, not Lewis, etc. It just isn't common in the first place.

As far as moving forward and backward. That is more of a traditional European style, as seen in Klitschko, Kovalev. They just prefer to reset and then move forward and attack. Kovalev for instance though, rarely attacks against the ropes and prefers to be moving forward.

    His intellect?
Volkov, who guided the elder of the Klitschko brothers through his degree and subsequent doctorate, said it is Klitschko's innate intelligence combined with his strength which will help him to beat Lennox Lewis on Saturday, when the two battle for the World Boxing Council (WBC) title.

"The difference is that he is a thinking boxer, unlike others. He watches and he learns," said Volkov, a former cyclist and now retired professor from the Pereyaslav Khmelnitsky Teachers' Training Institute. "It is difficult to beat him because he knows where the next punch is coming from, he analyses bouts. "He is not that kind of boxer who just wants to get stronger, he is interested in developing his mind as well as his body, developing his intellect. "He just wants to be more and more clever."

I really have no idea what you're seeing in the ring.

Do you put the judges opinions over your own? I had Byrd winning from the 5th round on wards. He totally took control of the fight. Vitali was getting out boxed so he threw in the towel. Greats find a way to win under adversity. Greats don't quit.

This makes no sense. He used bend his knees while lunging forward , not his waist. It was a major flaw in his game that would get exposed had he fought an elite lever boxer. As it was the worst under prepared version of Lewis capitalised on Vitali's flaws to get him out of there in 6 round. Namely his lack of upper body movement and his all around defence in general. His bellow average boxing brain was also brought into question in both losses as he showed little to no adaptability

I never heard of any Volkov. Whose he? Doesn't really matter anyway as he was proven to be wrong.

This was your thought process before making that post -

Hmmmm , he got me there. I'll just rubbish the careers of all 4 of those guys. That should do it.

Afraid not dum dum. Not an argument. Espicially when Vitali's best wins of Peter and Arrolea are far worse.

Peter beating Ferguson?? lololol... All you ever seen of Ferguson is his name on boxrec. Jesse boxes the ears of zero skill Sam Peter. Ray Mercer was better than Peter on so many levels.

:risas3: Ferguson lost to every decent fighter that he ever fought, and even some not-so-decent ones. GTFOH. Sam Peter would have run through him and Frank Bruno like an express train. You utter prat. NOBODY goes around boasting about this 26-18 guy that they managed to beat :drink9:What are you drinking? "Uh, yeah, but ol' Jess was actually really good. Uh, he threw this jab once." :eaea:

    LOL

Ferguson beat Buster Douglas and Ray Mercer. Not even the greatest version of Mike Tyson that ever existed could run through Jesse Ferguson.
Peter was a nothing in the weakest most pitiful HW era known to man. You wouldn't have even known his name if you put him back in the 90's.
Ferguson had skills. REAL skills. Body shots , speed , stamina and combo's as good as Povetkin from this era. Peter had ZERO skill.
All you ever saw of Ferguson his his name on boxrec. You wouldn't be posting if you didn't have access to that site.

    Wow.

So this Ferguson was a pretty awesome fighter. I guess I must be confusing him with ANOTHER, strictly journeyman, Jesse Ferguson. Obviously I've forgotten what he was like.

    Let's check out his record:

Lost to Danell Nicholson ... KO'd
Lost to Frank Bruno ... KO'd
    Lost to Bowe ... KO'd
    Lost to Seldon ... KO'd
Lost to Carl Williams ... KO'd

and ... *drumroll* lost to Mike Tyson, by KO.

Um. Nope, we're talking about the same Ferguson.

    GTFOH, you damn clown.

Every one of them was 100x better than Sam Peters. Seldon would wipe the canvas with Peters.

Further proof that you are nothing but a box rec warrior who doesn't KSAB.

Ferguson did not get KO'd by Tyson , he lost by disqualification. You never saw that fight and like i expected you probably never saw a Ferguson fight in your entire life. You've been exposed. You know nothing. You are a useless poster.
