Beterbiev vs Marciano

I think Beterbiev is naturally bigger than Marciano.

Marciano today would be a small Cruiserweight if he was lucky. You guys need a reality check with all these mythical "Marciano vs X" match ups. Marciano gets banged out and hard by most legit guys north of 175 today.

 

Marciano batters both Beterbiev and Kovalev . There I said it .

Me too, but it's a little early to be pitching him in against machines like Rocky. Let's see a bit more of him before we get over-excited.

 

Roughly equal in the power department I'd say, but Rocky has a stupid ridiculous gas tank and would outwork Beterbiev. We know that Rocky can take a punch as we've seen him in against Moore, Louis, and Walcott. The question is can Beterbiev take Rocky's punch? If he can, he probably gets outlanded by Rocky swarming on him throwing leather, volume punching. If Beterbiev tries to keep up, he'll gas half way through and get knocked out by a fresher Marciano.

 

There is some good stuff on the Classic Forum but sometimes I think some of the writers are from planet cuckoo land.

 

They are as awful with their Marciano worship as people in the main forum are with their Mayweather zealotry, and likely for the same knucklehead reasons.

 

Its like saying could USS Cunningham beat Ali. They are both of similar dimensions and skill bases. People get alot more offended about it with Ali though.

Beterbiev's wrestling, mauling, inside strength and short powerful punches are massive strengths and I would not fancy Marciano to survive such an onslaught.

 

Why not 30 seconds?

 

Because that's a realistic predicition, beterbiev has shown chin problems and versus marciano he'll get koed in a few rounds

It was a balance issue. And even if it was legit his senses cleared within seconds and he got up and and destroyed his opponent.
