Well it didnt come out of his mouth but Arum said it. His reluctance to take the drug test 15 days before the fight was dodgy. Then when he does finally fight Floyd with heavy testing he has his worst performance. I'm not a Manny hater either I think Floyd is a definite PED cheat too. This content is protected
I don't think that's enough reason to say pac is on PED. He is Asian and most has superstitious beliefs. If he said getting blood drawn too close to the fight effects him. I believe that. After blood test I normally try not to exert my arm too much.
Maybe he truly believes Pac has doped before? I mean, the man comes right out and says it. Doesn't take a detective.
There could genuinely be truth to this, but boxing is also a PED ridden sport. If Manny can't PED but Floyd can, then it gets unfair.
Sure, anybody is a suspect I guess, especially now most athlete have a chemist or a medical team behind them. You can toughen up the testing, but the protocol is always way behind the cheats. It is an issue for some, but not one I'm really passionate about. Look at bodybuilding for example, you know that all are drugs user, but still not all can be a winner.
This is actually quite interesting. It could possibly be due to Paulie been in sheer disbelief of what Pac was able to do. If you think about how Paulie said that if Pac beats Cotto it would make him Pac an ATG Then Pac goes on to beat the absolute stuffing out of Cotto who did the same to Paulie. Paulie probably just can't believe Pac won the way he did. That's my best guess anyways.
Yet he goes ahead and does it in the end against Floyd. I think both Floyd and Manny juiced I dont have evidence for it it's just my opinion from the stuff they have said and done.
Because Paulie's power is a joke. Not in the figurative sense either. Paulie's power is a running joke in boxing ciricles. Everywhere, the internet, the print media, the talk shows, you name it. He's seen as a joke because he can't crack an egg. And Manny spent a large portion of his career obliterating and breaking bigger men.
He thinks Pacman cheated for several years in his career. Specifically, he believes that Manny's ascension in weight classes was fool's gold and was triggered by him using PED's. I don't know if he has any evidence to corroborate his position, but he's been very adamant about this for years . In his interviews, he seems quite certain Manny was on something for several years and believes he's currently off of it which in his opinion has caused Manny's performances to wane on a fight by fight basis.
But he hired memo so his opinion of PEDs can't be that bad if he's prepared to work with someone who was notorious for giving athletes PEDs.
