Lol Marciano never beat a heavyweight a day in his life. He beat light heavyweights and small cruiserweights.

Actually Golovkin has one-shotted guys.

He absolutely demolished Ishida with one punch, nearly straight out the ring. He KO'd Geale with one shot while getting punched himself. The "skull compactor" punch that put Rubio down for the count is a GGG favourite. And he put Macklin away with a single left to the liver.

Regardless, he doesn't hit harder than Rocky.

I think the thread came up in reaction to posters in the classic section saying Marciano doesn't hit nearly as hard as super heavies like Tua, Wlad, Lewis, Bowe, etc. and Golovkin sparring partners saying that he hits harder than heavyweights like Povetkin.

 

This. If GGG could punch like Marciano he would go take over the LHW and Cruiserweight divisions and make huge money. GGG is skilled, but he still hasn't fought a skilled fighter that punch.
