It's not something he needs to say. You can read people. Haye resents Wladimir. You can read it all over Haye when he talks about Wladimir.

Helenius destroyed Sam Peter and made it look like an absolute cake walk. Prime 'Wladimir' went life and death with Peter so its not hard to believe Helenuis is giving him a pasting.
Wouldn't believe anything this fraud says. When he opens his mouth, it is always with an agenda that benefits how good he looks while downplaying another. It's in his interests to say Wlad is past it, so that if Joshua was to win, he can argue that it wasn't that spectacular of a victory and would still need to prove himself against him, even though you can argue that Haye himself is past his sell by date after fury forced him into retirement.
