That's how I'm looking at it: Parker SD, although I might flip-flop and go for Fury SD or MD nearer the time of the fight.

I have to admit I haven't seen enough to Hugie, and wat I saw didn't impress me. I'll have to go with Parker in this one. I have a suspicion Team Fury is rushing Hugie into an early title shot to maintain their boxing team as Tyson seems to be out for a year or two at the minimum.

Hugie isn't a good puncher, he's quite inexperienced. He comes with a good team though. Parker has more experience and has the home advantage. If this goes to a decision I don't see Hugie winning. A KO victory is what he'd need and that would be a massive surprise.

Fury definitely has the skills to frustrate and outbox him. Parkers best win was an on the road Takam, the rest of the time has been in New Zealand feasting on bums. Really is an unproven fighter. Hughie has sparred and trained with some top HW's as well as having boxed the lineal champ all his life. whilst he's still a kid, the occasion and level will be nothing new for him.

This fight isn't going to happen. Just like Shannon Briggs is never gonna fight again.

Yeah sparring your cousin in front of 5 people is the same thing as fighting Joe Parker in front of 4.5 million kiwi's baying for your blood.

You have to be pretty delusional to compare the 2, Hughies taking a nap!!!!!

I'm sure there is at least 6.5 million Kiwis around the world. The number of ex-Pats living abroad is huge.

What's going on with this fight? Anymore news? I don't understand how Fury will be travelling to NZ with a drug ban, I have a feeling this fight will fall apart just like Hughies other big fights.

It's not only Tyson, its all the world class sparring partners they have hired during Tyson's rise well as following him around to the fights. This is nothing new for him. There wont be 4.5million kiwis it will be more like 20,000 and believe me, travelling will not be an issue for Hughie.

Nobody will be taking a nap, but Parker will be taking a long sorry walk back to the dressing room. It wont be for the lack of heart or effort, just the superior boxer on the night.

Looks like Fury may turn down $1.2 million (guaranteed) and a shot at the title - by failing to sign at the last minute.

Will anybody trust him after that?
