Tyson of the ruddock fts. Probably caught more by razor in those two fights than ever before excluding Douglas. Could a prime tua do just as much to tyson or does he go one better and stop him.? A good chin and big punch, would it have been enough?

I just can't see Tyson beating Tua in a shoot out, both have great chins and both had big power, but in my opinion Tua hit harder and had a better chin. It all depends if Tyson can avoid the left hand of Tua because he did it for the most part against Ruddock.

I'm going with Ruddock By decision. I think his reach and volume would see him to a points win.

Tua was a bad style matchup for tyson. Especially for a tyson who seemed to utilize less angles. Tyson could win but he would have to fight out of character to do so

funny because a prime Tua would have bombed out the mythical "ruddock of tyson fights"

Prime Tua got outboxed by a 16 fight Ike Ibeabuchi who's true value was never determined due to having such a short career. Prime Tua was for all practical purposes schooled TWICE by Hasim Rahman. Had it not been for the punch that landed after the bell in round nine of the first fight, he was sailing towards a loss. I don't see Tua having any significant advantages over Ruddock.

well.. ike ibeabuchi was better than ruddock in every single department.
ike never "out boxed" tua, they traded blows all the fight and the decision is very contriversial, you can argue that tua won.
saying that rahman "schooled" tua is very laughable.
advantages of tua over ruddock? lmao you must be joking...
much more hitting power, much better chin, much better stamina, carried his power late in the fight, was physically stronger and had stylistical advantage over ruddock who would trade with him like he did with Tyson,Morrison, shot smith( did put him to fly around the ring) and lewis. and the result was not very good for him against punchers

No. Forget Tyson. Tua wouldn't have beaten Razor Ruddock from the Tyson-Ruddock fights.

God enough with the Tua threads. The guy was overhyped to begin with and he just gets more overrated with every passing year

I'm going to put my neck on the line and say tua can do this. I can see him taking some crazy punches at the start but I think he'll stick those feet right in to the canvas and as the round s goes on starts banging them in him self. Tua will get more and more confident as tyson looks more despondent. Some bone cracking lefts in the 9th put tyson on the canvas!
