    There is a wtitten clause that says the rematch has to happen no later than the month of June.
    Ward said a couple of weeks ago that he has to make a decision fast. Said his two options are Kovalev rematch or retirement ( vacating the belts)
    I assume there will be a clear annoucement in March. 3 months before the possible rematch
    Each promoter has to negotiate and convince his fighter to sign. Same like it was for the first match. Ward has said he wants more money this time. It remains to be seen what Roc Nation will do.

    The winner of the rematch has to fight the winner of Beterbiev-Barrera no later than September, or vacate.

    If Kovalev is desperate enough to make the fight happen, he may very well make more concessions, monetary and otherwise.

    this sounds more reasonable to me than someone saying everything is agreed to already before the first fight even happens

    Main Events paid Kovalev 2 Mil plus some PPV money, Roc Nation paid Andre 5 Mil plus PPV money.

    Roc Nation lost a alot of dough on this fight. I'm curious to see how negociations for the rematch will go

    With Kovalev it will be very simple. He ll sign the same ish like last time

    I don't think any of these deadlines mean anything. Originally, nobody was supposed to have a fight after last June (I think it was June). But both parties agreed to wave that, and Kovalev wound up having a fight against Chilemba and Ward faced Brand before their November showdown.

    yeah...wards 3 friends who judged the first fight are somehow allowed to judge it again by kovalev and kathy duva! great management u have there sergey!

    maybe ward wants the fight held in the parking lot of the oakland olive garden with virgil hunter, floyd mayweather and abel sanchez as the judges...and wants 10 million while kovalev has to be paid in breadsticks

    i know it was terrible...i mean...they werent even smart enough to make it an SD and at least give kovalev one card!....i mean even canelo got a draw on one card against floyd! but they couldnt even give kova one! just had to rub salt right in the wounds!
