He is his fathers son as far as body type goes so maybe cruiserweight?

Seriously though I'm in the minority who actually think he can do things at 147, just needs to change some things with training or lifestyle maybe - basically get serious, be a professional.

He is not too small, he is just average at welterweight. He can certainly compete at the middle level. Below welter, he had size advantage and perfect style to be dominant. He can still be effective at welter of he can alter his style to stick and move more.

He's too lazy to fight at a weight that is best suited for him.

He was over rated. Now people seem to realize his real level.

He's not big enough to compete at the highest level at 147 lbs.

His issue stems from his jumping up from LW directly to WW to face Paulie M. for his alphabet title. After he won that fight and remained undefeated, he had the belief he could unify the division at 147. Everyone knows what happened to him from the moment he took on Maidana.

He should've stayed at LW, attempted to defend his title a few times there and gradually work his way up the divisions. He was still in his early 20's after he ran through Demarco, the logical move was to stay at LW for a bit longer and let his body fill out slowly.

Not shot , just no where near as effective at 147. But even then, he never did that much at the lower weights in all honesty.

His footwork is terrible. He's a stationary target. It's why Maidana was able to tee off on him.

He's simply too small. He's actually dwarfed by many guys. Look at his legs and his
frame. His size and outgrowing division issues are because he's not disciplined
enough to want to make weight. His struggles are his own doing. There is no
reason he shouldn't still be fighting at LW.

What is too small is his brain.
