Gennady Golovkin without the insane punching power would still be dominant!

He will still be successful cause he has great foundation in the amateur.
However he will have to fight with different style. He won't be able to walk people down, and judging from his lack of athletic ability compare to some of the elites, he won't be as exciting or dominant.

As Brook proved, Golovkin is a basic fighter with great punching power. There is absolutely nothing exceptional about the guys boxing skills.

Great Skills not exceptional...but Granite Chin and incredible Power in both Hands....we would all like a fighter like that in Our stable....trouble is they are as rare as Rocking Horse Sh*t...that's why He is Dominant...age will be the only factor it catches up with every Fighter eventually.!!!

I could venture to say that Khan proved, Canelo is a basic fighter with great punching power. There is absolutely nothing exceptional about the guys boxing skills.

But the truth is that Golovkin played a few rounds with Brook before he increased the pressure.

They're both basic fighters. And I don't believe Golovkin was playing with Brook, that's a bull**** excuses. Both of these guys have been carefully managed and no amount of media propaganda will convince me that they're more than what they are.

Wow, really? Which guys are going to expose GGG? And why aren't they mandatories?

Plenty of guys have called him out at 168 and we haven't heard **** from him. He's 35 with a resume of 21 year old prospect.

Wow, great list of names you provided. :buenrollo:

So, not a single 160 fighter that can touch Golovkin?

That's the result of "careful management", is it?

Don't play dumb with me, supermiddle weights have always been middleweights. 30 years ago that weight class didn't exist.

Still no list of these "plenty of guys", huh?

Still no man in his weightclass that can touch him, huh?

I love the way your "careful management" angle falls to pieces the moment it is examined objectively.

No wonder your avatar looks like he trusted a fart and came up short.

Floyd Mayweather vs Canelo happened didn't it.
Ward vs Kovalev happened didn't it
Pac vs Magarito happened didn't it
There is something weird about grown men acting like teenage groupies over another grown man. This is not rocket science, elite fighters fight other elite fighters within their weight class.

I've crossed paths with you before. This tangled web of reasoning that ultimately makes no sense is SO familiar.

    You do realise that you:

    1) Haven't provided any names that Golovkin should have fought, and why they aren't his mandatories yet
    2) Are acting like a teenage groupie over GGG

Idk about the other 3 but if he had average power Id probably favor Canelo over GGG, as it is now I have it a 50/50 fight with a slight edge to golovkin if the fight gets made soon
