Gennady Golovkin without the insane punching power would still be dominant!

Agree. GGG is fundamentally sound. He's always balanced which is why he's such a devastating puncher. He cuts off the ring well. He doesn't get enough credit beyond his power.

If I had to say one thing negative about him is, he is so offensively good, that he's never had to really defend. He doesn't seem to move his head much. We saw Brook outbox him for a couple of rounds (until GGG said enough is enough that is).

Convenient excuses you have there. If this guy is as good as you guys claim he is, he will not have an issue doing what so many great fighters have done. Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones, Manny Pac, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, these guys did not use weight as an excuses to avoid real challenges, But, I don't expect that from you guys, afterall you're just fanboys.

I disagree. Think he'd still be winning, but his opponents would be able to stick to their game plans and remain competitive. Most guys get hurt in rounds 1 or 2 and just start surviving.

Read my earlier post, I stated that Golovkin's is a basic fighter with great punching power and wasn't what his fans and the media portrays him to be.
I used those guys because Golovkin fans claim he's on par with if not better than some of those guys. There is a Roy Jones vs Golovkin thread floating around here, and Golovkin fans swear he would have massacred Roy Jones.

 

In amateurs he wasn't known for his power yet he got a world title, and a silver medal, so yeah
